September 18, 2024

Feadship 'Faith'

Launched in 2017, previously named ‘Vertigo,’ the 318-foot Feadship superyacht is now more widely recognized as M/Y Faith.

With her naval architecture and design excellence, she has become one of the most luxurious vessels ever to grace our waters, frequently captured in global photographs.

Built by the Dutch shipyard Feadship, this superyacht is the result of a collaboration with interior and exterior designer Redman Whiteley Dixon and naval architects De Voogt—a synergy that resulted in a true masterpiece in the world of megayachts.

In this article, we’ll explore Faith, and her stunning design—from her sleek exterior to her interior—and dive deeper into her previous charter cost and sales price.

Exterior

Upon first sight, Faith spellbinds you with her striking, sleek, and modern exterior designed by Redman Whiteley Dixon. Her elegant profile features lines sweeping smoothly from bow to stern, achieving the perfect balance between grace and power.

Her exterior leaves nothing to be desired and the beach club at the stern is a prime example, furnished to the highest degree of luxury with plush seating and direct access to the water. Here, guests can relax by the water’s edge, enjoy a collection of toys, or use the custom-built Feadship limo tender.

Two features stand out—the helipad and the stunning 29-foot glass-bottom pool. The bow features a helipad designed for a Bell 429 WLG, providing owner Michael Latifi with unmatched flexibility for excursions ashore. Aft, the engineering marvel of the glass-bottom pool, offers a unique swimming experience, with its transparent floor offering a view of the ocean below.

Her exterior is all about connecting with the surroundings, inviting guests to bask in the sun, dine under the stars, or simply relax. It’s a design meant to celebrate the beauty of the outdoors, with every comfort considered.

Interior

As you step inside Faith, you’re greeted by an interior that effortlessly extends the luxurious flow from the exterior. Designed by RWD and Chahan Interior Design, the interior showcases contemporary luxury, where every corner is thoughtfully crafted to evoke comfort, elegance, and serenity.

The main salon offers vast space and connects guests to the surrounding ocean through floor-to-ceiling windows. These windows flood the room with natural light, casting a warm glow on the rich wood finishes, marble accents, and bespoke furniture. Faith also features a dining room adorned with custom art, offering a stylish setting for evenings when al fresco dining isn’t an option.

Faith can accommodate up to 12 guests in seven cabins. The full-beam master suite boasts panoramic ocean views and direct access to a private deck. Standout features on this deck include the skylight above the bed, which floods the space with natural light, the private office, and a luxurious marble bathroom complete with a custom bathtub.

Her interior boasts an abundance of luxurious amenities for guests to enjoy. Unwind at the spa, which features a massage room and a steam room, work out in the fully equipped gym with panoramic ocean views, or enjoy the cinema room with plush seating, perfect for cozy movie nights with family and friends.
