Anna’s distinctive exterior, designed by Michael Leach Design, stretches an impressive 360 feet. In addition to penning her exterior, the London-based firm was also tasked with interior design, naval architecture, and engineering.
Anna’s exterior features long, sweeping lines that extend from stern to bow, giving her a sleek, dynamic profile. Notable details include the distinctive aft deck design and the striking O-shaped bulwark amidships. This massive undertaking, completed between 2015 and 2018 at Feadship’s Makkum shipyard, is to this day one of the largest projects the shipyard has ever taken on. Her steel hull provides stability and durability, while the aluminum superstructure ensures a balance of strength and lightweight performance.
Her deck areas are vast and versatile, providing multiple lounge spaces with uninterrupted views of the surrounding environment, making them perfect for sunbathing, socializing, or stargazing. The aft deck is particularly impressive, featuring plush seating, sunbeds, a swimming pool, and a retractable sunroof that can provide shade when the sun gets too intense. Right below, Anna’s beach club sits at the water’s edge, offering direct access to swimming or the use of a wide array of water toys stored in her garage.
One of Anna’s most striking features is her two helipads. The first is a touch-and-go style helipad located on the expansive foredeck, while the second is positioned on the sundeck. When not in use, these spaces can be converted into additional lounge areas with seating arrangements perfect for soaking up the sun. The foredeck space is particularly unique, as it is often transformed into a makeshift sports area, with a surrounding net for games like soccer or basketball.
Last but not least, Anna’s underwater lighting system brings her exterior to life at night. The lights illuminate the hull and surrounding water, creating a beautiful, glowing display that enhances her presence. The combination of her sleek oyster-white hull, silver details, and turquoise water creates a lantern-like ambiance that makes her a striking sight, even at night.
