HCB 48 Campeón

HCB 48 Campeón

HCB Yachts made waves at last year’s Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show with the soft launch of their latest marvel, the HCB 48 Campeón.

The new flagship model quickly captured attention with its design and luxurious features, showcasing the peak of craftsmanship in center consoles.

Built to cut through waves with grace and speed, the HCB 48 Campeón promises an exhilarating yet luxurious experience on the high seas. Every detail of this vessel reflects the artistry of custom craftsmanship and a relentless commitment to quality.

Today, Nautical Network invites you aboard the largest and fastest model in HCB’s 40-foot range. This article unveils all the details that led to this model’s winning the 2024 Innovation Award at the Miami International Boat Show, as well as a video walkthrough we shot with Ultimate Marine.

Exterior

The sleek lines of the 48-foot hull are the first to catch the eye, sweeping elegantly from aft to bow. This design enhances the boat’s sporty appeal and promises adrenaline-pumping performance. The high-performance hull, dressed in whisper grey with platinum and chrome accents, exudes a stylish and sophisticated finish.

Entering through the starboard-side tuna door, the HCB 48 Campeón surprises with its spaciousness, especially notable given its length. The beam measurement of 13′ 8″, which is 8″ wider than the larger 53 Suenos model, contributes to this sense of space.

Aft

Starting our tour at the aft, we find a setup ideal for fishing enthusiasts and leisure seekers. Features like rocket launchers, rod holders, live wells, and frigid rigid coolers cater to anglers.

At the same time, soft seating with elegant stitching, a summer kitchen, a hard top rainfall shower, and a premium sound system offer comfort for all. The attention to detail is demonstrated at the summer kitchen, with a 24″ aft facing Garmin screen, as well as a fold-out bimini that provides shade for the chef of your company.

The fold-out rear transom seats on both the starboard and port sides offer extra seating, perfect for relaxing after a day on the water. For those who enjoy underwater activities, the giant slide-out ladders, hidden between the engines, provide easy access to the water for snorkeling or diving.

Helm Station

Under the oversized hardtop, the helm station features a soft bench seat and three beautifully crafted helm chairs, all consistent with the boat’s luxurious Bentley stitching. The helm’s rear elevated bench accommodates four passengers comfortably, with air conditioning and armrests for added comfort.

One of the many highlights of this model is the dual 10″ Garmin screens at the helm station, which earned it the innovation award at the Miami International Boat Show 2024. These screens provide comprehensive control over the boat’s systems, from navigation to entertainment, ensuring a seamless experience at sea.

Bow

At the bow, we find the perfect place for social gatherings, relaxing hours under the sun, and festive evenings. There are two large, soft forward-facing loungers and a spacious, round lounge sofa at the front of the bow.

The lounge sofa features a fully electric-actuated table with accompanying cushion. This table can not only be used for al fresco dining but can also be lowered to form a large sun pad. When not in use, it can be lowered completely so it lies flush with the deck floor.

Interior

One of the most surprising aspects of the HCB 48 Campeón is the spacious cabin hidden beneath its expansive exterior. Despite the generous outdoor areas, the interior space feels ample and luxurious. Accessed through a discreet door next to the helm station, the cabin opens into a well-appointed and elegant retreat.

The cabin features cabinetry, a microwave, a refrigerator, a television, a wet head, and a large sofa that converts into a sleeping area. The bright interior, with white cushions and cool light gray cabinetry, is bathed in natural light from the overhead window and side port holes. The thoughtful layout ensures generous headroom, creating a comfortable space that belies the boat’s sleek profile.

Performance & Specifications

The HCB 48 Campeón delivers exhilarating and stable performance at sea, thanks to its high-performance hull and powerful engine lineup.

This vessel is all about speed and versatility, equipped with four Mercury V12 engines generating a combined 2400 HP. Whether navigating rough seas or enjoying a calm cruise, the Campeón excels in all conditions.

HCB markets the 48 Campeón as a boat “for the bold,” and it lives up to this description with its sporty exterior and robust performance. Blending the features of a high-performance, open boat with the luxury amenities of a cruising yacht, the 48 Campeón enhances every aspect of the owner’s lifestyle.

2024 Innovation Award

Following their soft launch at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, HCB Yachts officially unveiled the 48 Campeón at the Miami International Boat Show in February 2024. The grand unveiling was crowned with the prestigious innovation award, a testament to HCB’s relentless dedication to pushing the boundaries of yacht design and technology.

“The HCB 48 Campeón takes the idea of a custom boat to a new level with an ultra-widescreen display that can be customized to the owner’s desires and a one-touch digital switching system that powers up only the systems specified by the skipper. The build quality and attention to detail overshadowed entrants in the category.” — Gary Reich of the judges’ committee.

The Miami Innovation Awards judges’ committee comprised eight BWI members specializing in marine products and equipment. The panel included Ben Stein (Chair), Tim Murphy (Co-Chair), Kelsey Bonham, Kevin Falvey, Alan Jones, Adam Quandt, Gary Reich, and Tony Esposito.

At Nautical Network, we congratulate HCB Yachts on this well-deserved award. Their commitment to innovation within the yacht industry continues to impress, and we eagerly anticipate their future creations.
