The Lamborghini yacht, also known as the ‘Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63’, immediately grabbed the yachting industry’s attention with its sensational launch back in 2020.

This mold-breaking vessel was a vision brought to life by the collaboration between Automobili Lamborghini and The Italian Sea Group.

The limited edition concept celebrates the founding year of the Italian supercar manufacturer, 1963, and pays tribute to some of the most popular models coming from the factory in Sant’Agata Bolognese—tributes evident in the details of the striking design.

Described with words like performance, driving pleasure, quality, attention to detail, and emotions, the ‘Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63’ holds unique experiences for its few lucky owners.

But what makes this vessel so unique?

In this article, we delve into the unique fusion of a superyacht and a supercar. Join us as we take a closer look at the Lamborghini yacht, explore its intricate details, features and impressive performance, and finally reveal the price tag.

At first glance, the striking exterior immediately catches your eye. With its distinctive silhouette, sleek lines, and high-performance hull—crafted by marine engineers specializing in computational fluid dynamics—the exterior of the Lamborghini yacht redefines nautical design

What’s interesting about the unique exterior design is how much inspiration was drawn from the cars, and how seamlessly it was given a nautical twist. These car-inspired design features are evident throughout the entire vessel—from the bow lights to the cockpit steering wheel—details that celebrate some of the most popular models crafted by Lamborghini.

The yacht pays homage to six different cars, with the overall design inspired by the Sián FKP 37, a hybrid supercar featuring cutting-edge supercapacitors and special ‘carbon skin’—the latter applied to the ‘Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63’.

Further connecting the vessel with Lamborghini’s legacy, the aerodynamic hardtop was inspired by the popular Roadster models, while the high-performing hull and superstructure celebrate iconic sports cars from the 1960s, Miura and Countach, and the significant bow lights are inspired by the Concept Car Terzo Millennio.

Head down to the cabins and find that the interior of the ‘Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63’ mirrors the exterior elegance, featuring high-tech design elements that blend seamlessly with unmistakable clean lines, hexagonal shapes, and premium materials.

The Lamborghini yacht is a testament to Italian craftsmanship at its finest, crafted with weight and functionality in mind, resulting in open and airy interior spaces. Adding yet another layer of exclusivity to an already very exclusive yacht, owners can fully customize interior colors and materials through the ‘Ad Personam’ program, making each yacht unique.

The cockpit is just like a supercar driver’s seat, except you’re at sea. Integrated into the unmistakable Lamborghini dashboard with carbon fiber details, you will find navigation and monitoring systems as well as the iconic Start & Stop button. Furthermore, the leather pilot seats from the Huracán Evo and a helm modeled on the Aventador steering wheel complete the transformation—bringing the supercar experience to the sea.

The Lounge Version features large open spaces with lounge sofas, a wardrobe, a fully equipped kitchen, a guest day head, and ample storage. It includes a private owner bathroom for added privacy.

The Single Cabin Version retains the lounge version’s design, with the galley in the divided bow area, allowing space for a king-size bed. The front cabin provides spacious accommodations and a dedicated owner’s bathroom.

The Two-Cabin Version features two independent, spacious and comfortable cabins. The master cabin at the bow offers a king-size bed and the guest cabin accommodates friends or children with two single convertible beds.

Take a seat in the cockpit, start the engines, and prepare for an exhilarating ride. The Huracán Evo seats and the Aventador steering wheel are more than just visually appealing cockpit features—they also give a taste of the impressive performance at disposal.

Powered by twin MAN V12-2000HP engines, the Lamborghini yacht cruises steady at 40 knots and reaches a top speed of 64 knots—making it the fastest yacht in Tecnomar’s fleet. The use of carbon fiber also classifies it as an ultra-light motor yacht, with a maximum weight of 24 tons and a length of 63 feet, which is remarkably light for a vessel of this size.

The ultralight construction is made possible by a fiberglass/GPR planing hull which cuts effortlessly through the water—ensuring excellent seaworthiness. It measures 65’ 8’’ in LOA, has a beam of 17’ 9’’, and an impressively shallow max draft of 5’ 3’’.

Stefano Rutigliano, Strategy Director of Automobili Lamborghini, previously made this comment on the project:
“We are proud to see the essence of Lamborghini DNA that today sets out to sail the sea with the same attitude of our super sports cars that race across the asphalt. This yacht is proof that the shared values and perfect synergy of the two teams are the key to executing excellent projects.”

The Number 63

The number 63 is a tribute to the founding year and a central theme for this Lamborghini yacht.

But more than just the name of the model, it is also the number of editions scheduled to be built and delivered—and one of these 63 exclusive owners is a certain Mr. Conor McGregor.

The highest-paid athlete of 2021, Conor McGregor, known for flaunting his luxury collection—including a Lamborghini Aventador Roadster, Urus, McLaren 650S, Rolls-Royce Ghost, Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe, and Bentley Continental GT—didn’t hesitate to showcase his latest addition to the collection on Instagram back in July 2022.

The Irishman placed his order from Tecnomar headquarters in Italy and was granted hull number 12 by Tecnomar. The hull number is a celebration of his Irish whiskey company, Proper Twelve, which he founded in 2018 and sold in April 2020 for $150 million.

But how much did he pay?

McGregor had to pay $4,000,000 USD to acquire one of the 63 limited editions, which is the average price of the ‘Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63’ with customization included.

”This yacht represents the significance of creating a valuable partnership, at its best: our cooperation allows the essence of both organisations’ style and expertise to be transferred to different worlds, sharing in their diversity to interpret and add value to the final product in a new environment. If I had to imagine a supercar on water, this would be my vision.” — Stefano Domenicali, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini.
