Superyacht Village at Pier Sixty-Six: FLIBS 2026's Big-Boat End, Explained

All stories

What Superyacht Village is, the headline yachts docked there in 2026, how the Windward VIP Lounge and tender work, and how a regular ticket holder experiences it all.

Every boat show has a far end of the dock where the boats stop being boats and start being ships. At the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, that end has a name: Superyacht Village at Pier Sixty-Six South. If you have never made the trip down there, 2026 is a good year to fix that.

What Superyacht Village actually is

Superyacht Village is one of the show's official waterfront locations, and per flibs.com it hosts the largest yachts at the show. It sits at Pier Sixty-Six South, across the water from Pier Sixty-Six North, where the 100-foot-plus brokerage fleet docks. The show's water taxi serves it like any other stop, running from an hour before the show opens to an hour after it closes, so getting there is no harder than getting anywhere else on the show map.

The headline yachts of 2026

Show organizers announced the big names in October, and they are worth the ride. Draak, a 305-foot Oceanco refit for research and exploration, attends as companion vessel to the 111-meter Leviathan, with Boat International reporting both belong to Gabe Newell. Lady Christine, a 223-foot Feadship with naval architecture by De Voogt and interiors by Rodney Black Design Studios, joins her. So does Scout, a 209-foot Hakvoort ice-class explorer styled by H2 Yacht Design and listed for sale with Fraser. Three very different answers to the same question, docked within walking distance of each other.

The Windward VIP setup, and the tender between venues

Superyacht Village is also home to the Windward VIP Lounge, one of two VIP venues at the 2026 show. The other, the Windward VIP Cabana Club, is newly relocated to Bahia Mar Yachting Center this year, and a complimentary VIP tender runs between the two, per the show's official Windward VIP page. The $459-per-day VIP ticket includes access to all show locations, a premium open bar and gourmet cuisine at the Lounge, private restrooms, complimentary water taxi and shuttle transport, self-parking at Superyacht Village, and one-hour early entry through Superyacht Village each morning. Celebrity chefs Ryan O'Sullivan of Hell's Kitchen and Dave White of Below Deck headline the culinary program at both venues, per the show's ticket launch release.

How regular ticket holders experience the big-boat end

You do not need the VIP wristband to see the Village. It is a show location on the water taxi route, and walking the docks past a 300-footer is an experience no photo prepares you for. Set expectations on boarding, though: yachts of this class are shown at the discretion of their crews and brokers, and serious viewings are generally arranged in advance. Go for the dockside walk, the scale, and the detail work you can see from the quay, the gleam of a varnished caprail, the tenders stacked like cars. It costs nothing beyond your admission and an hour of your day.

Make it your afternoon

The smart play is to spend your morning in the thick of the show, then ride the water taxi south when your feet need a slower pace.
