Scout 670 LXS In-Depth: The Full Tour of Scout's Flagship, Space by Space

All stories

Beyond the headline horsepower: our full in-depth tour of the Scout 670 LXS walks every deck, stateroom, and system to show how the flagship actually lives.

The Scout 670 LXS usually gets introduced by its transom, and fair enough: up to five Mercury V-12 600s is an unforgettable handshake. But a flagship is not a horsepower number, it is a hundred decisions about how people live aboard, and that is what this film is for. This is our full in-depth tour of the 670 LXS, the slow walk through every space on the boat, and it is where the Scout stops being a spectacle and starts being a yacht.

How the deck plan actually works

Scout lists the 670 LXS at 66 feet 9 inches with a 16 foot 2 inch beam, built in carbon fiber and E-glass with design input from superyacht studio Harrison Eidsgaard. On deck, the tour shows how the spaces hand off to each other: the fishing cockpit aft, the social midship zone, and the bow lounge each get their own segment. The cockpit beach doors fold out to take the usable beam to 19 feet 6 inches by Scout's listing, and seeing them deploy in the video explains the feature better than any spec line. Up top, the flybridge gives the 670 a second helm and a vantage point that changes long days offshore.

Below deck, where flagships are won

The lower deck is the heart of this tour. Scout fits three staterooms and offers interiors in three palettes, Salt, Coral, and Neptune, running light to dark. The film walks the master, the guest cabins, the galley, and the head compartments at a pace that lets you judge the joinery and the headroom for yourself. This is where the 670 makes its quiet argument: the accommodations read as yacht, not as center console with bunks. For a boat that Scout says will still run near 60 mph, that combination is the whole point.

Watch it like a buyer

Use the tour the way a surveyor walks a boat. Watch the traffic flow at the helm, the grab points on the way forward, the storage in the staterooms. Flagships reward close attention, and this one holds up to it. If you have already seen our shorter Scout coverage, think of this film as the sea trial for your eyes: the version you watch when the boat has moved from daydream to decision.
